Understanding Roles of Lipid Composition in Plasma Membrane
Why so many lipids? This question largely remains unresolved since the interplay between lipid composition and membrane protein can be particularly complex. We aim to answer this question via vibrational spectroscopy combined with simulations.
Protein Secondary Structure and Dynamics
Protein secondary structures can provide valuable information about their functionality and potential applications in biologics or biomaterials. We can also track dynamics of protein folding/unfolding, and protein–ion binding over fast timescales.
